Time Warner Woes Make Me Want To Drink

So, I've been incredibly frustrated with Time Warner Cable recently.  They keep jacking up my internet bill, and when I call them about trying to get it back down, or at least understand why it keeps getting increased, they transfer me four times.  Finally, at least 1/2 hr later, I'm finally talking to someone who kinda seems to know what's going on.  Another 20 minutes later, I've heard about their system, and how when I began their services 3 YEARS ago, it was at a promotion price.  Ok. Got that.  I knew after the initial 12months it would go up.  However, every 8-12 months it KEEPS going up - and apparently will keep going up until I'm paying $60/mth for just internet! Waaah?!  It's a pretty ridiculous system, and their customer service BLOWS. I was so irritated I was looking around at different providers and hoping to switch.  Alas, every where else also seems to have terrible "deals" and "promotions".  And did I mention the actual internet has been utter bollocks these past three days and they won't be around until Saturday to give me a new box? They said they'd pro-rate the day it wasn't working - so they better not charge me for this entire week, seeing as how only Facebook works.  I try to use pinterest, check my email, watch my tv shows, update my sites, yadda yadda ya - nothing.  It's constantly not connecting and is soooo frustrating.  Saturday afternoon can't come fast enough.
Well, in an effort to calm myself down - as even writing about Time Warner and their utter bs has gotten my blood near boiling again - I'm having an absolute blast playing the Nurse in Romeo and Juliet.  I can't believe we open next Friday and too soon it will already be over! I was hesitant about accepting this role, not being able to see myself playing this character I had so many preconceived notions about, but I trusted the director and am so glad I did :)  It feels wonderful connecting to a new character, bringing her to life, creating such a story with new people - making something new and exciting is the best feeling in the world.

Also, while my connection to weebly is actually working, I'll share that I've decided to dub this month Frugal February.  I started using a budget back in September, and have been able to keep to it - but the first two days of this month I felt like I had already spent so much money, I needed to cut back. I was taught since I was a young thing barely able to toddle that saving money was a good thing.  I'm not sure what exactly I'm saving FOR, but might as well strike while the iron is hot.  I've found it's a struggle, though, and I need to take it day by day, challenging myself to not spend anything.  Sundays I usually buy a Tuscan Bean Salad for lunch, but instead brought some Gumbo I'd made Saturday night.  Monday and Tuesday I had some incredibly strong cravings to stop at Starbucks or Argo Tea for a hot beverage - the days were bleak and overcast with snow on the air, a hot drink seemed like just the ticket.  But I refrained.  I have plenty of Chai and various teas I could make at home instead of spending $4-$5 on something specially made.  I also noticed I was stopping at Trader Joes several times a week.  I have plenty of food to last for a bit - time to cut back the calming trips to those laden aisles of wonder and eat what I gots. :P  Since this is a shorter month, I'm hopeful that I can go several days each week without spending any money and have a bit more in my bank account for some unknown future event (hopefully not something devastatingly catastrophic, but who knows what the world has in store).

I do have quite an uncanny ability to justify my spending.  Below is a picture of some of the new shot glasses I got from TJ Maxx February 1st - honestly a steal.  I've been wanting some awesome new shot glasses (seeing as how we only had two) - these were pretty, funky, and only $6 for a set of 6.  My rm added some Blue Raspberry Jolly Ranchers to a glass of Pinnacle Whipped.  Here we added some 7-Up, as boy, the Vodka concoction packs a punch! But this shot is super smooth and totally delicious :)

I think tea is better than Vodka.. Although I don't have alcohol . But I know it is harmful and specially for female. Hey here Chai means tea ? In India we call Chai for tea.
Do you only have salad in lunch ? Tuscan Bean Salad ? For me very tough only having salad in lunch and dinner...:)
