One thing that's gotten worse is doing the IV - he is genuinely upset by it. Wouldn't you be? I know I never had a fear of needles until I was stuck with so many of them it was obscene. Even though he's scared, he takes it like a champ, and doesn't run away to hide from me afterwards.
I went to the vet to get a new IV bag on Friday, and was talking about how much better he is doing. He's back to his old self; no longer cold and lethargic, he greets me at the door, is alert and active, and is no longer jaundiced. The vet was surprised at his quick turn around - particularly that Stry is no longer yellow! He said they don't normally advise home treating, but that's it's amazing how well he is doing in such a short amount of time. :D
We've still got a road ahead of us. I'll need to force feed him until he starts eating properly on his own - and man, his teeth are sharp! He is obviously hungry - which is a great sign!! When I give him the option to eat on his own, though, he only licks the gravy off the actual meat. Baby steps. And after only two weeks, I'll take it!
