2. My siblings - it wasn't always the case, but I now thoroughly enjoy being from a large family. We're like a far-ranging clan, scattered across the globe, but still connected and honestly, no one understands our dynamic - and it's cool being part of the "in" crowd for such a fantastic group of people.
3. Strider - my little fuzzy black ball of love has been my constant companion these many years. Sure, he can be an annoying little bastard, but he's mine, and I'm his, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
4. My apartment - God provided an amazing apartment in the perfect part of town. I have a kind landlord who doesn't raise my rent, and a great handyman who fixes the myriad of problems that arise.
5. My roommate - I'd known her for maybe 5 weeks (only meeting 1x a week in our dialects class) before we moved in together. Maybe it was better that way - we had to become friends by being roommates first. I couldn't've asked for a better, kinder, more patient and understanding rm than her :)
6. My love and ability to cook - I have found such a joy in cooking ever since moving to NYC - and I'm so glad I'm actually good at it!
7. My love of writing - Though my output has dwindled these days, and ideas are scarce, I am thankful God gave me this ability - to take words and create stories and characters and whole worlds from thin air is a gift I treasure.
8. My resources - I wouldn't be able to live in NYC and pursue my dreams if it wasn't for the abundant blessings God has poured into my life.
9. Living in NYC and pursuing my acting career.
10. Theatre - without it, I don't know where I'd be, or even who I'd be.
11. My friends - From WI, NY, and around the world. I know some of the coolest, most talented, interesting people. They create an important support system, without which I would be able to thrive out here.
12. Tea - it brightens my life :)
13. Traveling - I've gotten to see some of the most beautiful places, and had some wild experiences - but there is still so much to see and do! I can't wait for my next adventure.
14. Opportunities - they abound here - for me to become a better dancer, meet important and/or famous people, take voice over classes - helping me discover who I am and what I truly enjoy doing, and am good at!
15. Meeting Hugh Jackman ;)
17. My facepainting ability - I fell into such a fun little niche and am excited to have it become a larger part of my life.
18. My job - I, again, fell into the most wonderful job for me. I have kind, understanding bosses, I'm great at my work, and I get to work with dogs. It's not glamorous, but it's usually pretty fun, it pays well, and I get my dog/puppy fix every week without having to actually have my own.
19. Holiday Markets - those beautiful, magical wonders that never cease to entertain.
20. Bathbombs - they're fizzy, fun, and fabulous. I can't wait to try my hand at making them.
21. Great books.
22. Great movies.
23. Finally being 21!
24. Technology - it's really quite amazing - the information we have at our fingertips, being able to connect with friends and family around the globe. Sure beats the days of The Pony Express.
25. A warm, comfortable bed.
26. Great TV series - especially of the British variety.
27. My creativity and imagination.
28. Being able to visit home for the holidays.
29. My little pumpkin nut and being an aunt!!
30. Being me - it's taken me a long stretch of time to become accustomed to who I am and if I liked that person or not - but I've grown to love that woman dearly, and hope to continue to do so for the next 70 years.
