2. Doctors. I am so sick of NY doctors! I'm sure they're not all bad - but I've just run into a string of awful ones that weren't personable, never read my medical history that should've been easily pulled up, didn't read what their assistant wrote when they questioned me about my symptoms, bladdy bla. Well, going to see the guy that's been treating me since I was born was a very nice switch. He listened, explained, prescribed, and only did one test which was well reasoned. He hopefully got to the root of the issue and gave me hope again. It was very nice :)
3. Liquor stores and alcohol prices here could make me cry from their beauty.
4. Being taken care of by the fam. It's great being an adult, doing my own thing in NY, but it is really really nice to come home for a week or two every so often and not have to worry about things. There will be food, drink, a nice atmosphere, usually a fire going with casual gatherings in the evenings, not having to buy my own groceries and I can do my laundry in the basement :)
5. Getting to see my good friends. I've made some friends in NY, and it's always nice to run into them around the city, but I've known everyone here a minimum of 7years, most many many more than that, and it's great to see and hear everything they've been up to.
